Grants available in NSW for businesses affected by flooding

NSW small businesses affected by the severe weather and floods in February and March can now apply for up to $50,000 in government support.

The Flood Disaster Recovery Small Business Grant aims to provide help to cover the cost of clean-up, repairs, restocking or reopening as well as leasing temporary space.

To be eligible, small businesses or non-profits must be in a defined disaster area in NSW which includes Armidale, Ballina, Hornsby, Lismore, Richmond Valley and The Hills.

Applications are now open and will remain open until 30 June 2022. Successful applications can expect to see funds in their accounts within 5-10 business days.

Businesses can apply via the Service NSW website or by calling Service NSW Business Concierge on 13 77 88.
